We are just about in the midst of the maximum solar activity cycle, with the sun displaying large numbers of sunspots, flares, and prominences. Come view our nearest star up-close with specially-filtered solar telescopes that show the sun’s features in yellow, red, and blue light, each revealing specific details not seen in ordinary filtered scopes.
More details: This program is designed for ages 8 and up. Space is limited. Online pre-registration is required. This program will take place on generally flat ground with some light gravel and grass.
