Bring the family to Sycamore Hill Gardens in Marcellus for a one-of-a-kind, outdoor garden experience like no other! The Garden Tour is a not-to-be-missed spring event in Central New York. For many it’s a yearly tradition and for newcomers, the gardens are awe-inspiring.

At this self-guided event, you can stroll the lawns and paths through 40+ acres of vibrant gardens, with amazing sights and surprises around every turn. Bring a picnic lunch, find a cozy spot, and soak up the afternoon sunshine by the pond at this fun family day full of exploration and wonder around every turn.

All garden tour proceeds benefit Baltimore Woods Nature Center in its mission of connecting communities and nature in wisdom and wonder, both at the Baltimore Woods nature preserve and across Central New York thanks to Sycamore Hill Gardens, our Sponsoring Host. Thank you to Marcellus Central School District for graciously offering its parking areas and to our wonderful host, Sycamore Hill Gardens, for helping make this event a great celebration of Mother’s Day and the beauty of spring!  Ticket Holders can reach Baltimore Woods staff by emailing [email protected] throughout the weekend and during the event. Local food trucks, including Blueberries & Lace, Limp Lizard BBQ, Bob Barker’s Famous Hot Dogs & Coneys, Skippy’s Ice Cream, and The Local Crust, will be on site all day to add some flavor to your garden experience.

Plus, new this year: a pre-order picnic lunch option from GOOD Eats & Sips! (Must order by Wednesday, May 7)

Guests can browse a selection of plants available for purchase in the greenhouse and check out raffle items in the barn!

If you already purchased tickets, please review this IMPORTANT PARKING UPDATE:

Unfortunately, due to excessive rain conditions over the past several days, parking on site is going to be severely restricted this year. Existing ticket holders are asked to park at Marcellus Highschool (1 Mustang Hill, Marcellus) and take the available bus to the gardens. If you are traveling with a group, you are able to drop off guests at the gardens in advance of traveling to the high school parking lot. A limited number of parking spots at Sycamore Hill Gardens will be available for guests needing mobility accommodations, including wheelchairs and motorized scooters. When you arrive at the gardens, alert the parking lot volunteers to directed to the drop off area or best available space. The event is still planned to run from 10am – 4pm. The bus will arrive at the High School at 9:30am.
