Be a part of the first restoration project on the newest part of the Baltimore Woods Preserve! Join the Baltimore Woods Nature Center Stewardship Team and Habitat Gardeners of Central New York to plant tree seeds, tree seedlings, and protect them inside our new 5 acre restoration fence on the newly acquired property. This is the first exciting step to transform what is currently an open field to a diverse oak forest to create space for future trails and programs – and to be enjoyed by you and our community for years to come!

This event has projects for both adults and children. Please bring your own shovels and/or trowels. Dress accordingly, as you will be working in muddy conditions. Participants should plan to arrive by 9AM and should park in the staff parking lot.
