Here’s another great chance to see something fascinating in the sky! We are just about in the midst of the maximum solar activity cycle, with the sun displaying large numbers of sunspots, flares, and prominences. Come view our nearest star up-close with specially-filtered solar telescopes that show the sun’s features in yellow, red, and blue light, each revealing specific details not seen in ordinary filtered scopes. The backup date will be August 18th.
