Weather Station at Baltimore Woods

Did you know that we now have a weather station installed at Baltimore Woods? Our Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station is located next to the grassy field by the John A. Weeks Interpretive Center. It includes temperature and humidity sensors with a 24-hour fan aspirated radiation shield, a tipping spoon rain gauge, and an anemometer. The weather station was installed in September 2024 with the help of members of our A-team (Jim Kiesa, Bill Stokes-Cawley, John Gensheimer, John Racciatti, and Steve Garty).

The weather station measures temperature, humidity, pressure, wind, and precipitation. Visitors can see the current weather conditions on the receiver inside the big program room in the Interpretive Center. You can also view live updates below!
