Three Weeks of Hands-On Adventures in December!
Cozy Home, Cozy Animal
December 1, 2020 from 1pm-4pm
In our first week of Science Adventures in Nature, we’ll learn about the different types of homes animals build to survive the cold winter. We’ll follow their tracks to find out where they are keeping warm and build a home for ourselves too!
Predator vs. Prey
December 8, 2020 from 1pm – 4pm
This week we are exploring predators and their prey. We’ll engage our senses to understand the different strategies and adaptations animals have to hunt or escape being hunted. Will you catch your prey or become a predator’s dinner?
Wonderful Winter Life
December 15, 2020 from 1pm – 4pm
Did you know you can still find a lot of life in December? This week we will explore the preserve in search of plants, animals, and whatever else we come across! We’ll practice our birding skills, count squirrels, and search for natural materials for a fun craft.
