A bustling community of creatures lives just below the surface of Phillip’s Pond, from water boatmen to newts. In this sketching program, we will use pond nets to get a closer look at some of this pond life. Then, we’ll practice recording our observations through sketching and nature journaling. All drawing materials will be provided.

More details: This program is designed for families and adults. Space is limited. Online pre-registration is required. This program will include a walk from the lower parking lot to the pond on a section of the Boundary Trail. This includes a brief steep section with loose gravel and some roots followed by gently rolling packed natural surfaces.
