Hemlocks are a foundational species which have profound effects on the natural communities they inhabit. Sadly, these ancient trees are imperiled in Central New York. Join Land Steward David DuBois on a walk that explores the unique ecology of hemlocks, the threats to their survival, and what Baltimore Woods is doing to keep these important trees on the landscape while exploring some of the oldest trees at Baltimore Woods.
