Navigation and Awareness

More Details: Price: $30 per participant for the individual workshop as part of the 6-part series, no discounts. Space is limited. Online pre-registration is required. This program is for adults. Individual sessions are 3 hours where you will receive hands-on instruction and practice focused around a single wilderness skill topic. There will also be participants at the session who have enrolled for the full 6-course series. These individuals will continue with the program for an additional 2 hours dedicated to connecting those skills to the previous workshop session.

Jeff Devine is a Certified Wilderness Skills Instructor who has worked with Baltimore Woods for nearly 20 years. He has worked managing and protecting natural lands for more than three decades, in places including Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, as well as New York, where he was Executive Director of CNY Land Trust. Jeff has a passion for nature and helping others deepen their connection to the wild. Beyond work, he loves games, traveling, and perfecting his technique with his backyard smoker.
