Family Field Day: Dive into Pond Life

Loading Events
From frogs to snails, a healthy pond is full of unique life to discover! Join us for a family field day all about pond science. We will head to the pond to explore the life that lives above and below the water’s surface. We’ll use nets and scientific tools to collect creatures and take a closer look at the pond itself.
More Details: We will start in the lower lot, then hike 0.25 miles up to the pond. This program is planned to follow parts of the Boundary Trail. This difficult trail has uneven, sloped sections with roots and loose soil. Our total route will be about 0.5 miles. The area around the pond is sloped, with uneven surfaces, and can be slippery when wet. This program is for ages 5+. Registration is per family and free for members.
