Do you have a telescope and are just not sure how to use it\, or want to buy one but don’t know where to begin? Bring a scope if you have one\, your questions if you don’t\, and we will do the rest! \nThis two-hour workshop will go over all aspects of telescope set-up and use. Topics will include mounts\, alignment\, eyepieces and magnification\, use of finder scopes\, and even how to take pictures through a telescope. We should have a good view of the 1st-quarter moon\, an easy target for beginners. We will start indoors\, in the nature center\, rain or shine\, with a hands-on course of using your scopes\, and if the sky is clear\, we will end up outside doing some actual observing under the stars. \nRegistration for this program closes at 3pm on Monday\, July 28. \nMore details: This program is designed for ages 10 and up.
