The peak of the Orionids meteor shower! We will also have a 1st-quarter moon to deal with, but as it sets, the sky will get darker and hopefully more meteors will become visible. Saturn will be rising later in the program, and we may also get a peek at Jupiter. Bring a lawn chair to watch for meteors.
